Percussion Audio Story  What is percussion and how does it compare to traditional instruments?       This is my audio story/podcast on percussion and percussion instruments.  I interviewed several students and other people form different backgrounds, both musical and non-musical.  I asked them what percussion meant to them and how they think it is similar to and/or differs from other instrument groups.

                                                                    In these picture, I put on filters where I took the blue levels down and raised the green levels a bit.  In addition, I used the hue/saturation and color balance adjustment layers to further enhance my filter.

Hey I'm Drew Weisenborn.  I went to people around campus and talked to some people that I know have some sort of musical background, whether it be percussion specifically or another instrument (I think having both is important).  I then asked them what percussion meant to them and how they think it differs from other traditional instruments.

Symmetry  This picture is symmetrical.  Framing  The window frames the inside of the next room from the viewpoint. Layering This textured pattern on the mirror represents layering. Negative Space  The single panel on this wall creates negative space around it because there is nothing else there. Angle This is a top-down shot of a light switch.

Topic 1:   The new Nido & Mariana Quebein Arena Experts: Tubby Smith, Danny Frye Information: The new arena will be built later this year or possibly into next year.  I can't wait to be there when it is ready for use, since I am in the Spirit of HPU Pep Band.  I hope to find out where the band would be placed during games as well as more info about the buildings' other features and rooms.  Other people would be interested in this, especially those basketball fans, because they would probably like to know more about the new arena that the team will be playing in and it's features during game times.
